Its Raining, Its Pouring...

Well, perhaps not pouring, but it must of drizzled a little, for when I emerged from my Work Cave the sidewalk was damp. How annoying to miss the rain!

Where did they go?

I've lost my scissors! Where could they be? I can do nothing without them, really, I wouldn't mind at all having a pair permanently attached to my hand. Blades for fingers would be very handy indeed.

Like the Moody Reader of this brooch I am settling down on the sofa  to read the book my postman has just delivered... The Man of Fifty by Goethe, this Hesperus Press edition has one of those lovely smooth covers and a delicious bookshop scent.

Being from the bonnie city of Edinburgh I was thrilled to find Artquick's brilliantly lively gouache and ink paintings. Indeed one of my very favorite streets is there, captured perfectly...
She also has wonderful citi-portraits in Paris, Riga, Dublin and more... perfect to calm your homesickness or inflame your wanderlust.

My Manycolored Legs

Why hello.

Not a very devoted blogger, am I? I shall try to rectify this, really I will...
...perhaps.

My Legs, when the hot summer starts to cool, turn many colors.
Last year, they turned:

And this year, only yesterday....

That is to say, I placed my yearly tights order at WeLoveColors.com
I really recommend the Nylon/Lycra MicroFiber blend, as they wash (cold!) excellently, are not itchy and last very well indeed.
They have 44 colors to choose from, which sounds like a lot. But I wish there were more! Oh Tilly, thou art greedy for manycolored tights!
