New Necklaces in Tilly Bloom Land

Quirky little illustration necklaces on either cream, pale blue or pine wood print, backed in dark mahogany wood print. Each pendant is carefully crafted layer by layer, paper, plastic skeleton, more paper, the image and 2 layers of varnish. They lie flat against the skin at collar-bone level and are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

The designs range from most very peculiar to simple and charming, I am particularly fond of the 'Fish in a Vise' and the 'Bunny in a Goblet', as you can tell, I enjoy putting hapless creatures in odd places.

I think its quite splendid, even if I do say so myself, but not half as splendid as each item. I particularly love the fly, the fish, the felt brooch and of course, Nanopod's intriguing object.

Vintage Illustration Brooches

Good day fine fellows, just wanted to show you what I've been up to this week.

  I adore vintage woodcuts and illustrations, particularly objects and advertisements, I was browsing my collection of these and decided to turn an antique phone into a brooch to wear on my cardigan. It turned out great, looking bold and unique, so I made many more to share with you .
They are on sale now in my Etsy shop.

In the background is some of the lovely brightly colored paper I just purchased for my bracelets, it has a rich, thick, textured feel. Nothing is so pleasing as good quality paper on sunny Fridays.

New Bracelet Designs, Wench!

The Wench bracelet is one of my new bracelet designs which will be appearing in my Etsy shop over the next few days, it one of my favorites so far. This bonnie young wench in her risque outfit of corset, petticoats and lace-up boots, drinks a little glass of sherry and charms the customers. Lined in lovely golden paper.

2 Items Featured on the Etsy Front Page

Hello Splendid peoples, I do hope you are having a jolly weekend. I found this most good screen shot while cleaning my drawers and files, of 2 of my little workings on the front page of Etsy, in the theme of Anatomy. A very well put-together treasury by Inhope.
I've been working on the website this weekend - no rest for the wicked - and have updated many of the images and added bold new buttons. Out with the old, as they say, I'm retiring many designs to make way for new improved ones. Do pull out your best spectacles and have a good look.

New Bracelet Designs and Men In Mustaches

I've been working some new bracelets over the last few days, much stickiness of fingers, but at least I didn't
glue myself to the mouse pad like last time.
Most of them have vintage images of men, I particularly like ones with Victorian men in high collars with amusing facial hair. Facial hair is splendid. I think I would look rather handsome in a handlebar mustache, yes, this is something
I should look into.

Good morrow dear reader, I hope you are feeling fine. I welcome you to my typings and hope they will keep your eyes filled with merry images and your mind filled with good knowings.
If there is anything you would like to find here please leave a typing of your own in the comments section and I will do my best to oblige.

I'm in the process of reworking my Madethings, my presence on The Internets and myself - indeed, I may even get a fringe cut into my hairdo.
Its an odd process, it feels large and maze-like, but I hope to have it finished by the end of the summer, before the leaves become many-colored. When all is complete, we shall have a grand party with paper hats and pipes for all.
