New Earrings Designs
Object Earrings, from the mundane, to the... mundane? Yes: wooden pegs, pen nibs, shoes and even the humble screw. But aren't the most lowly objects often the most lovely? They certainly make for curious ear decor.

Spring blossoms are abundant at the moment, even here in Brooklyn. I noticed them floating down onto the subway lines, through the grates in the sidewalk, a plesant thing to watch while waiting for the train to arrive. Here are some I photographed a few weekends ago while the sky was blue (its grey and morose today)

Buttons, buttons everywhere. 15 new button designs, including Edgar the violin-playing Elephant, Bird Nest Bella, Prime Time and Rainy Monday. Choose any 5 buttons for $7, available here.
Teapots, wonderful things. I use a lovely, simple glass pot made by a German company called Jenaer Glas. But these intriguing handmade ceramic pots - anything but simple - are quite beguiling, perfect for a mad tea party.
This large and elegant brooch is inspired by Philip Pullman's 'The Golden Compass'. An elegant polar bear with gold leaf and parts from a dismantled vintage compass.
Limited Edition of 7.

I sold my first piece of anatomy jewelry over a year ago, an intricate hand-drawn brain. It was followed shortly by a tongue, a pelvis and a ribcage... I still love to use anatomical diagrams.
Wear you heart of your sleeve, and a pelvis on your neck. "I love having a pelvis on my neck. How many people can say that?" I find in my feedback. Splendid!
My newest designs have brightly-colored, 3D touches...

An amusing poster for what I believe was a book of short stories...
Of course, I love the title.

Hello Fine Fellows,
I hope all who celebrate Thanksgiving have a splendid day tomorrow and eat many a tasty foodstuff.
If you are cooking, a special wishes to you, I'm sure it'll turn out delicious! I made a wonderful Maple Nutmeg Cream Tart yesterday, with some surprisingly easy-to-make Ginger Butterscotch Sauce. Speaking of ginger, MarmeeCraft has an excellent recipe for Honey Gingerbread, which you can see here.
If you plan of doing a little shopping this Friday do take a peep at my specials page...
